With crude oil making landfall across the entire gulf coast, the focus of the nation, and the world, is quickly turning to clean up efforts and the environmental impact on the coastline. Over a month and a half ago the deep ocean mobile drilling platform, Deepwater Horizon, exploded and sank, taking with it the lives of ten people. The environmental and economic toll of this disaster is still unfolding as oil continues to pour from the damaged well nearly a mile under the ocean.
